Côte d’Ivoire is the world largest exporter of Cacoa with 1.230.000 ton per year!  Abidjan was the capital of the country untill 1983 when the formal president called out his birth-town, Yamoussoukro, as the new capital.

 With almost 5 million people, Abidjan is the largest city in the country, Yamoussoukro counts not even 10% of that amount (approx. 400.000 people).
